Photo Holder

I found this unfinished wooden photo holder at Michaels a couple of months ago. It was like $1 and I thought that was a bargain! I painted it
black and then ran Appletini metal from Ten Seconds Studio through my Big Kick inside a swirl embossing folder. Then I sanded off the color on the raised swirls. Cut it to size and attached it to the front, back and sides of the holder. Tied a scrap of ribbon to one of the wires and it was finished. These make great gifts for anyone. Include a card in one of the wires for added surprise.

Texas Bluebonnets

The Texas Bluebonnets are blooming and beautiful! Took my two boys out for photos today. It was a little warm too. Temperature in the 80's. A hot Spring is in the air I think.

My Class Next Week At Stamp Asylum

I am teaching a movable card class at Stamp Asylum on April 25th from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Photos below of one of the cards. This one folds flat for mailing but pops up to sit on it's own base. There is also a spinner card and a pull up one. Three different cards.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF CARD CLASS – DONNA GOSS
Making a card is fun, but how about making a movable one? Spinners and pull cards are interactive elements that take cards to the next level. We will make three different cards in class incorporating these type of projects. Whoever receives one of these creations will be totally thrilled when pulled from its envelope. All supplies included. ($55)

Fun & Easy Gifts

This is a pin I bought on Etsy. It's made from a vintage zipper. I thought it was so cool! The company is called ZipPinning. They have lots of different kinds of flowers to pick from and also hearts. Check them out.
This is a ring I made using glass glitter, resin, a brad I cut the back off of and a square ring bezel. It takes a few days to cure but it works really well. The finished piece is all sparkly!
These are glass bottle I bought at Canton a few years back. I cleaned them up and then added wire and beads for hangers. I scanned in an old postcard I have then shrunk it down to size. Glued it to the bottle and added glass glitter (love that stuff) around the edges. Perfect vase for flowers! These I gave to my friends Melody and Monica for Easter.

These items would be great for any occasion. They are easy to make but great gifts.

Happy Easter

This is how I decorated my feather tree for Easter. I bought these glittered eggs at Michaels. Aren't they sweet? Love the bunny at the base. He looks like a real chocolate bunny, but he's made from resin I think. Well. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter Sunday.
