Petticoats on the Prairie Under the Big Top Event

Classes went on into Friday also for the Paper Cowgirl, but then the ladies got to pre-view the Petticoats on the Prairie vendor show Friday evening. It was fabulous! Several vendors I recognized from Canton!

Below are photos from the event and I have to mention my friend Monica Potts with Sweetly Recycled http://www.sweetlyrecycled.com/ . She had a booth, and I didn't see her till I was leaving. So I didn't get any photos of her booth, but she said it was a fabulous show for her. So I am very happy for her. Check out the website. She has some great products!

Also, I talk to Jennifer Babcock and didn't get any photos of her booth either. What was I thinking?!! Everything was displayed so cutely. Check out her blog here http://glittermyday.blogspot.com/ . She also does some great art events. There is one coming up in April I believe.

 Under the Big Top was the theme for the show. This tent was the entrance.

 There was a Top Hat contest. These are several of the hats entered. Our own Paper Cowgirl Susie Buttons won the contest!

This is Linda J. and Diane Johannsen's booth. Linda J. makes mohair animals and needle felted items. She has a studio in McKinney called Wildflower Studios, I hope to teach at soon.  This is Lisa Grant's booth. Email is lisagrantstudio@aol.com . Her art is called Mixed Media Collage with Poetry. She lives in Dripping Springs Texas. What an interesting name for a town. LOL I really loved the big hanging dresses!

This booth is another one I frequent at Canton. They make some wonderful angels out of recycled pieces. I have one of their pieces and have gave several to friends as gifts. Company is called Marigold Trading Company owned by Shelly and Brad Southhall from Grandbury, Texas. www.marigold-trading.com . They make birds and other items as well. Fun stuff!  OK this is funny. These two guys sitting out in front of this pink travel trailer. Look what this trailer looks like inside! I know I have seen this on someones blog but I don't know who.
