Paper Christmas Trees & Scarf/Gloves Gift Set

We made these at one of my mixed media art group meetings. Had to punch about 100 circles from 1" to 3" in size. Really a fun project.

I made this fleece scarf and gloves set the other day as a birthday present for a friend. It turned out great. Bought 2 yards of black fleece and got about 7 scarves out of it. Found gloves at Target and added the lace trim, buttons and seam binding ribbon to each. A nice easy gift for someone special.

Is this scrap paper? How did you 'punch them out' I love this!! What did you use to slide the circles on? A small dowel rod? What about the blocks on the bottom? I need a little more information. My kids would love making these. They are beautiful.
